Chillin in a van overlooking the ocean with some pirate ship in the background doing their thing with a million mini parrots squawking about with my full belly filled with all sorts of meats, cheeses and boxed wine. We just drove here to South West Rocks from Byron bay. I could live there in a jiff. The most amazing LONG right point break. This coast line is filled with right point breaks. Next time we do this it will be during peak swell season, camper van, and our own boards. We ended up renting boards at snapper for two days with my handy haggling skills. Got some great waves. Plenty of little wiper snapper, Kelly Slater's in the water, but we mustered up enough gull to steal some waves. I felt like a pro at one point the barrel was trying to venture over my head as a water photographer took my snap.
Spent all day driving and probably only made it about 20 miles as the crow flies. I think I'm getting used to this left side of the road driving. Michelle has to every once in a while yell LEFT SIDE! as I go on to new roads. We went to about three board shops all with boards too expansive to buy for four days of surf, but the rental rates are about the same as buying one. Tomorrow the swell will pick up and we'll see how it goes. Sitting in the camper van now awkwardly with my wine after a great chicken dinner. Wehe!
Notice Michelle wearing long pants!
Picked up the camper van from Brisbane to drive to Sydney, now relaxing and loading photos on the Gold Coast. Surf is bad but you can see how it could be good. We are debating picking up a junk board for fun, but it's like we are in the Jersey shore with a little Beverly Hills twist with a Prada, Louis Vuitton or Gucci shop on all corners. (Where Gucci meats the sea)

Starting the trip off with Brandi at the Portland, Oregon Zoo. Best concert I have ever been to. She sounds better in real life then on record. Sneaking in a bottle of wine helped as well.
Preparing for our trip... Sort of, General travel SOP usually includes a map and a bottle of wine the night before, but this time we are doing it with at least the first 6 days planned. Brandi Carlyle concert the night before at the Portland Zoo then to LA, then an unpteen-hour flight to Sydney then to the Hayman Islands in the Great Barrier Reef.

Home sweet home for the trip from Brisbane to Sydney
Michelle almost stepped on these little guys, but then had a chance to take a quick snap until he turned around and gave her a good stare.
After 24 hours of travel we were expecting a tiny boat for the last hour of the leg boat ride to the island. Instead we got this with a multi-sparkling wine treatment
Okay, so Interactive Balance has officially been re-designed and re-coded four times over. I am just now getting into the neo state of Flash Frameworks, but I know I need to get Javascript + CSS under control so here we are.
